Back again!

Mi rendo conto solo adesso di quanto sia stata lunga la mia assenza… ma sono felice di essere tornata! Le cose da recuperare sono tante, ma conto di farlo con questo post riassuntivo. Voi cosa avete fatto in questi mesi? Aiutatemi a ricostruire che cosa è successo nelle settimane passate e fatemi sapere… :)

I realize only now how long I’ve been away… but I’m happy to be back again! There are so many things to recoup… but I mean to amke up for the lost time with this post. What did you do during these months? Help me to reconstruct what happened in the past weeks and let me know… :)

Ich merke erst jetzt wie lange ich eigentlich fort war… aber ich freue mich wieder da zu sein! Es gibt viel nachzuholen, aber ich hab vor es mit diesem Eintrag zu tun. Was habt ihr in diesen Monaten getan? Helft mir die Ereignisse der letzten Wochen zu erinnern, ich bin neugierig von euch zu hören… :)

Gae Aulenti: mito, piazza, doodle

 

Non potevo certo ignorare questo Google Doodle - e non solo perché come sapete mi piacciono molto, ma soprattutto perché è dedicato a Gae Aulenti, a cui è intitolata la piazza del nuovissimo quartiere di Porta Nuova di Milano (Piazza Gae Aulenti)!! Adoro andarci a passeggiare e sedermi lassù nelle serate estive con in mano un bel libro da leggere! Non vedo l'ora che sia del tutto ultimata e non posso che invitarvi tutti a visitarla: noterete subito che vi si respira design, arte, innovazione e tecnologia, ma anche romanticismo, fascino e un pizzico di mistero. :)

I couldn't ignore this Google Doodle - not only because I really like them as you all know, but especially because it's dedicated to Gae Aulenti. Did you know that the main square of the new Porta Nuova district in Milan has been named after her (Piazza Gae Aulenti)?! I love to go up there for a walk and to read a nice book on a Summer evening and I can't wait for it to be completely finished. I really advise you to go there and have a look, enjoying everything, from design, art, innovation and technology to romance, charme and also a kind of magic. :)

Ich konnte dieses Google Doodle wirklich nicht ignorieren - und nicht nur weil ich sie sowieso alle mag, sondern weil dieses der berühmten italienischen Architecktin Gae Aulenti gewidmet ist. Wusstet ihr, dass der Platz im neuen Porta Nuova Viertel in Mailand nach ihr genannt worden ist (Piazza Gae Aulenti)?! Ich liebe es dort spazieren zu gehen, oder an einem netten Sommerabend einen Roman zu lesen. Ich freue mich schon darauf, dass er bald fertig eingerichtet sein wird und kann euch nur raten dorthin zu gehen und euch den Mix von Design, Kunst, Technik, Innovation und Romantik, Charme und Zauber zu geniessen. :)

Valerio Massimo Manfredi at Bocconi University

Carissimi! La mia lunga assenza è stata imperdonabile, ma rieccomi qui! Spero che stiate tutti bene e che le cose procedano al meglio! :) Spero anche che mi possiate scusare con questo post sul famoso autore di romanzi storici Valerio Massimo Manfredi che è stato guest speaker all’Università Bocconi settimana scorsa, grazie all’associazione letteraria Bocconi d’Inchiostro. È stato un incontro veramente interessante, lui poi è una persona davvero disponibile e gentile, oltre che coltissima. Un bellissimo pomeriggio!

My absence has been far too long and I’m definitely inexcusable, but now I’m back again! I hope you’re  all doing fine! :) I also hope, that you can forgive me with this post about the famous Italian historian and novelist Valerio Massimo Manfredi, who has been guest speaker at Bocconi University thanks to the Literary Association Bocconi d’Inchiostro. It has been an absolutely interesting event and I must say he is not only very cultured, but also a really open and sociable person. Indeed, it has been a wonderful afternoon!

Ihr Liebsten! Meine lange Abwesenheit ist wirklich unverzeihbar, aber nun bin ich wieder da! Ich hoffe, dass es euch allen gut geht und dass alles bestens läuft. :) Ich hoffe auch, dass ihr mich trotzdem entschuldigen könnt und versuche es mit diesem Post über den bekannten italienischen Historiker und Schriftsteller Valerio Massimo Manfredi, der letzte Woche als Guest Speaker der literarischen Assoziation Bocconi d’Inchiostro bei der Bocconi Universität war. Es war ein sehr interessantes und Treffen, und der Autor ist nicht nur sehr gebildet, sondern auch eine wirklich freundliche und offene Person. Es war tatsächlich ein wunderbarer Nachmittag!

Jin Ju @ Rocca Costanza

Carissimi, oggi vi parlo di un bellissimo evento che si è tenuto ieri sera alla Rocca Costanza di Pesaro: ha avuto luogo il primo appuntamento di "Interludio - momenti di Adriatica quiete" con la grandissima e talentuosa pianista cinese di fama mondiale Jin Ju (che nel 2009 è stata addirittura chiamata a suonare per papa Benedetto XVI, notoriamente un esperto intenditore di musica classica!). Ha suonato il Concerto per Pianoforte e Orchestra N.1 di Čajkovskij. Vi consiglio di ascoltare il concerto (sotto in un'altra versione), perchè è davvero bello! 
P.S.: A breve sempre a Pesaro inizierà il ROF (Rossini Opera Festvial, di cui vi parlavo già l'anno scorso QUI) dedicato al grande compositore Gioachino Rossini! So che praticamente ogni biglietto è già stato venduto, però se venite dalle parti di Pesaro un tentativo vale sempre la pena, dato che merita!

Dear all, today I'm going to tell you about a wonderful event of yesterday evening at the Rocca Costanza in Pesaro: the first concert of "Interludio - momenti di Adriatica quiete" took place, with the world famous Chinese pianist Jin Ju (who was even invited to play for pope Benedict XVI, a real classical music expert, in 2009!). She played the Piano Concert No. 1 by Tchaikovsky. I really advise you to listent to the concert (a different version below), because it is very beautiful!
P.S.: The ROF (the Rossini Opera Festival, about which I wrote also last year HERE), dedicated to the great composer Gioachino Rossini, is going to start very soon in Pesaro. I've heard that every night is almost already sold out, but if you come to Pesaro you can still give it a try, since it is worth it!

Ihr Lieben, heute werde ich euch über eine sehr interessante Aufführung berichten, die gestern Abend in Pesaros Rocca Costanza stattgefunden hat: Es gab das erste Konzert von "Interludio - momenti di Adriatica quiete" mit der wunderbaren weltberühmten chinesisischen Pianistin Jin Ju (die 2009 sogar von Papst Benedikt XVI, bekannterweise ein großer Experte und Kenner klassicher Musik ist, eingelanden wurde!). Sie hat das 1. Klavierkonzert von Tschaikowski gespielt. Ich rate euch es anzuhören, weil es wirklich schön ist (unten, eine andere Version des Konzertes)!
P.S.: Bald wird immer in Pesaro das ROF (Rossini Opera Festival, von dem ich euch schon letztes Jahr HIER berichtete), das dem großen Komponisten Gioachino Rossini gewidmet ist, beginnen. Ich weiß, dass schon fast alles ausverkauft ist, aber falls ihr in Pesaros Gegend kommen solltet, rate ich euch trotzdem zu versuchen noch eine Karte zu finden, denn es lohnt sich!

Susanna Tamaro at Bocconi University

Perdonatemi la lunga assenza, ma ne è valsa la pena: Lunedì scorso Susanna Tamaro, scrittrice italiana di fama mondiale grazie a “Va’ dove ti porta il cuore”, è stata all'Università Bocconi, dove è stata intervistata dall'associazione letteraria universitaria. È stato un incontro davvero molto interessante. Susanna Tamaro ha parlato apertamente, rispondendo con entusiasmo a tutte le domande che le venivano poste. Il focus dell’intervista era la sua recente autobiografia (“Ogni angelo è tremendo”) e quindi la sua vita stessa. Sono stata molto colpita e positivamente sorpresa dalla libertà e dalla semplicità (non banalità!) con cui ha raccontato agli astanti di sé, delle sue idee e del suo modo di vedere la vita. È sempre un’esperienza meravigliosa scoprire qualcosa di più sugli scrittori come persone, vedendo inoltre che nonostante il successo sono riusciti a mantenere una dimensione umana. Di seguito alcune foto della “conferenza” e un breve filmato.

I beg your pardon for having been absent for such a long time, but it was worth it: last Monday the world-renowned Italian writer Susanna Tamaro (author of “Follow your heart”) has been to Milan’s BocconiUniversity and was interviewed by the literary association. It was a really interesting meeting, since Susanna Tamaro talked very freely and answered each question with enthusiasm. The interview’s focus has been her latest autobiography (“Ogni angelo è tremendo”) and hence her own life as a whole. I’ve been very positively surprised by the openness and simplicity (not banality!) she told the audience about herself, her ideas, and her attitudes towards life. It is always a great experience to know writers as persons and to discover that they have managed to remain human beings despite their success. Entschuldigt bitte die längere Abwesenheit! Aber es hat sich gelohnt: Letzten Montag war die weltberühmte italienische Schriftstellerin Susanna Tamaro (Autorin von „Geh, wohin dein Herz dich trägt“) bei der Mailänder Universität Bocconi zu Besuch, und wurde vom Literaturverein interviewt. Es war ein sehr interessantes Treffen. Susanna Tamaro hat frei gesprochen und mit Verve jede Frage beantwortet, die ihr gestellt wurde. Focus des Interviews war insbesondere ihre neuerschienene Autobiographie („Ogniangelo è tremendo“), und damit ihr Leben selbst. Ich war von der Freiheit und Einfachheit (ohne keineswegs banal zu sein!) mit der sie den Zuhörern über sich, ihre Ideen und Lebenseinstellung erzählt hat, sehr positiv überrascht. Es ist immer eine wunderbare Erfahrung etwas mehr über die Schriftsteller als Menschen zu erfahren und noch dazu zu sehen, dass sie trotz ihres Erfolgs menschlich geblieben sind. Italy in 150 years

Come sapete, ho una certa passione per i Google Doodle che mi affascinano sempre moltissimo. Di recente, parlando con un amico, ho scoperto che me ne era sfuggito uno importante: nel 2011, in onore dei 150 anni dell’Unità d’Italia, era stata indetta una competizione artistica tra gli studenti delle scuole della penisola, per rappresentare in un Doodle “L’Italia tra 150 anni”. Il vincitore assoluto del concorso è il disegno intitolato “Avanti con energia” (che potete vedere qui sopra), realizzato da una scuola primaria nelle Marche. Lo trovo davvero di grande ispirazione per gli anni a venire, complimenti anche se in ritardo a chi lo ha realizzato!

As you already know, I have a passion for Google Doodles and think they are always fascinating. When I talked to a friend recently, I discovered that I missed a very important one: when the 150^th anniversary of the Italian Unification was celebrated in 2011, an artistic competition aiming to represent “Italy in 150 years” in a Doodle took place among Italian pupils and students. The absolute winner was the picture you can see above, called “Going ahead with energy” and realized by an elementary school in the Marche region. I think the Doodle is and should be definitely inspiring for the coming years, congrats to the winners!

Wie ihr schon wisst, habe ich eine Vorliebe für Google Doodles und finde sie immer sehr faszinierend. Als ich kürzlich mit einem Freund gesprochen habe, habe ich entdeckt einen sehr wichtigen verpasst zu haben: Als 2011 die 150 Jahre der Italienischen Einheit gefeiert wurden, gab es einen Wettbewerb zwischen allen italienischen Schulen, um einen Doodle zu erfinden, mit dem Ziel „Italien in 150 Jahren“ darzustellen. Der absolute Sieger ist das Bild von einer Grundschule der Region Marche (oben) und trägt den Namen „Weiter mit Energie“. Ich finde diesen Doodle sehr inspirierend für unsere Zukunft und gratuliere den Siegern!

Servicescape: Abercrombie & Fitch

Abercrombie& Fitch arriva anche a Monaco di Baviera, un’ottima notizia per le fan tedesche del brand e dello stile proposto dal colosso americano! Ricordo quando Abercrombie ha aperto (mi pare tre anni fa) a Milano: il giorno dell’inaugurazione faceva un freddo cane e pioveva, ma ci sarà stata una fila lunga un chilometro fuori dal negozio! Nonostante certe pecche (i modelli a parte “hi what’s up?” in inglese non sanno dire molto altro, non si vede niente, i prezzi soprattutto delle magliette sono altini rispetto alla qualità), a me personalmente il look di A&F piace e da un punto di vista di marketing trovo molto interessante l’ambiente dei loro negozi, con il buio, la musica, il profumo,… infatti Abercrombie è stato spessissimo oggetto di studio in letteratura e anche nelle aule universitarie viene menzionato spesso. Date un’occhiata in internet, e troverete studi interessantissimi che spaziano dal marketing alla psicologia! Non è specificamente su A&F, ma vi consiglio caldamente di leggere l’articolo di M.J. Bitner sul servicescape, per capire come gli “atmospherics” di un negozio impattino sull’esperienza del cliente. E a voi Abercrombie piace? Cosa ne pensate? Fatemelo sapere, come sempre! 

PS. Piccola dritta per ragazze taglia XS/S: la S/M dei top Abercrombie kids va benissimo in alternativa, costa meno e spesso la qualità è superiore! J

Abercrombie and Fitch comes to Munich, a great news for the German fans of the brand and of the large American company’s style! I remember when Abercrombie opened in Milan (I think it was three years ago): the opening day it was raining and it was terribly cold, but anyway there was a kilometer long line outside the store! Despite of some negative aspects (a part from “hi, what’s up?” the models are not able to say much more in English, you don’t see anything, the prices, especially those of the t-shirts are quite high compared to the quality,…), I have to say I like A&F’s look and from a marketing point of view I’m really interested in the servicescape, the store environment with darkness, loud music, perfume,… in fact Abercrombie has been often studied in literature and also in universities classes it is often presented. You can have a look on the web, you will find very interesting researches, from marketing to psychology! It is not about A&F, but I strongly recommend you to read M.J. Bitner’s article about servicescape, to get an idea of how a store’s atmospherics have an impact on the customer’s experience. And do you like Abercrombie? What do you think about it? Let me know, as usual! PS. Little hint for girls wearing XS/S: Abercrombies’ kids S/M tops fit perfectly and are a great alternative, since they cost less and often the quality is even better! J

Abercrombie and Fitch kommt nach München, eine phantastische Neuigkeit für die deutschen Fans des amerikanischen Megakonzerns! Ich erinnere mich als Abercrombie in Mailand eröffnet wurde (mir scheint, das war vor drei Jahren): Am Tag der Einweihung regnete es und es war furchtbar kalt und trotzdem gab es eine kilometerlange Schlange vor dem Geschäft! Trotz einiger Schwachpunkte (die Models können außer „hi, what’s up?“ nicht viel Weiteres auf Englisch, man sieht so gut wie nichts, die Preise, besonders die der T-Shirts, sind ziemlich hoch wenn man sie mit der Qualität der Produkte verglicht,…) muss ich schon sagen, dass mir A&Fs Looks gefallen und dass mich in einer Marketing Perspektive, das Servicescape, die Stimmung im Shop mit der Dunkelheit, der lauten Musik und dem Parfum usw. sehr interessieren… und eigentlich wurde Abercrombie auch oft unter die Lupe genommen und ist in der Literatur oft studiert worden. Auch in der Uni hört man oft davon sprechen. Wenn ihr im Internet sucht, werdet ihr sehr interessante Recherchen finden, die vom Marketing bis zur Psychologie gehen! Ich empfehle auch M.J. Bitners Artikel über Servicescape zu lesen: Er handelt nicht von A&F, aber er handelt von den „Atmospherics“ und von deren Effekten auf die Erfahrung der Kunden im Geschäft. Gefallt euch Abercrombie? Autumn is here!

Dopo una bellissima ultima giornata estiva (che ho trascorso nella splendida cittadina di Arona, sul Lago Maggiore), almeno per quelli di noi che vivono a nord dell'Equatore, oggi inizia l'autunno! Com'è il clima lì dove siete voi? A Milano è ancora buono, abbastanza fresco (a volte freddino) la mattina presto e dopo il tramonto, ma durante il giorno fa ancora un bel caldo e si sta proprio bene. Speriamo di avere quello che in tedesco è chiamato "Altweibersommer" (ovvero un autunno mite e non troppo rigido: alt = vecchio/a, anziano/a; Weib = tedesco antiquato per donna/signora, Weiber è plurale; Sommer = estate; un'estate da anziane signore; è così chiamata perché le donne più anziane avevano/hanno spesso l'abitudine di stare a parlare sedute davanti alle proprie case, cosa che è possibile solo quando il tempo non è troppo freddo). Ed ora diamo un'occhiata ad alcuni libri, film e cose che ci ricordano quest'interessante stagione! Qual secondo voi un sinonimo di Autunno? J

After a nice last Summer day (which I spent in the wonderful town Arona, on the Lago Maggiore lake), for those of us living above the Equator, Autumn is beginning today! How is the climate where you are? In Milan it is still nice, quite fresh (sometimes cold) early in the morning and after sunset, but during the day it's still pretty warm and very comfy. Let's hope we are going to have what in German is called  "Altweibersommer" (which means, a mild and not too cold Autumn: alt =old; Weib = older German for woman, Weiber is plural; Sommer = Summer; an elderly women Summer;  it's called like that because elder women were/are often used to sit in front of their homes and talk, and you can do so only when the climate is not too cold). Well, and now let us have a look at some typical things, movies and books which remind us of this interesting season! And which is, in your opinion, a synonym for Autumn? J

Nach einem schönen letzten Sommertag, den ich im wunderbaren Städtchen Arona verbracht habe (am Lago Maggiore), beginnt zumindest für diejenigen von uns die oberhalb des Äquators leben heute der Herbst! Was für ein Klima gibt es bei euch? In Mailand ist es noch schön, nur früh am Morgen und nach dem Sonnenuntergang ist es ziemlich frisch (oder sogar etwas kalt), aber ansonsten ist das Wetter noch ganz schön warm und angenehm! Hoffen wir einen Altweibersommer zu haben (auf Italienisch und Englisch habe ich die Bedeutung des Wortes erklärt, denn schließlich gibt es so einen Ausdruck in den anderen beiden Sprachen so viel ich weiß nicht). Un libro è sempre un bel regalo: un toccasana per la mente e per l'anima! :-) A volte può anche essere un'idea carina abbinare dei piccoli pensierini al libro che si vuole regalare. A book is always a great present: it's a pleasure for mind and soul! :-) Sometimes it can also be a nice idea to combine the book-present with some other small gifts. Therefore I'd like to share with you those I came across during the last weeks and that I like the most. Which one is your favourite?

Ein Buch ist immer ein schönes Geschenk: Eine Freude für Geist und Seele! :-) Manchmal kann es auch eine nette Idee sein, zusammen mit dem Buch auch andere Kleinigkeiten zu schenken. Deshalb möchte ich euch hier diejenigen zeigen, die ich in den letzten Wochen gefunden habe und die mir in dieser Hinsicht am meisten gefallen. Was gefällt euch am Besten?

Rossini Opera Festival

Sono un'amante dell'opera e più di tutti adoro Gioachino Rossini ed i suoi capolavori. Così anche quest'anno sono andata a Pesaro per il ROF, il Rossini Opera Festival, ed intanto ho visto la Matilde di Shabran, opera semiseria che posso già annoverare tra le rappresentazioni che mi sono piaciute di più in assoluto. Juan Diego Flórez (Corradino) è veramente carismatico e con la sua voce ti rapisce per tutta la durata dell'opera, ma anche Olga Peretyatko (Matilde) ed il giovane direttore d'orchestra, nonché neosposo della Peretyatko, Michele Mariotti ed il resto sono stati favolosi! Consiglio a chiunque abbia modo di fare un salto a Pesaro, di venire al Festival: è una bellissima iniziativa, ben gestita, che mostra che investire sulla cultura premia sempre!

I am an opera lover and especially I'm in love with Gioachino Rossini and with his masterpieces. So I’ve been to Pesaro for the ROF, the Rossini Opera Festival, this year again and in the meanwhile I’ve seen Matilde di Shabran. It’s a semi-serious opera (opera semiseria) that I can already count to those I liked absolutely the most. JuanDiego Flórez (Corradino) is very charismatic and his voice captures you for the whole opera, but also Olga Peretyatko (Matilde) and the young conductor Michele Mariotti, who has recently married Peretyatko, and all the rest were fabulous! I suggest to everyone who has the possibility to visit Pesaro to come to the Festival: it’s a great initiative, well managed and organized, showing that it’s always right to invest in culture!

Ich liebe Opern und besonders GioachinoRossini und seine Kunstwerke. Aus diesem Grund war ich auch dieses Jahr in Pesaro, beim ROF, dem Rossini Opera Festival, wo ich inzwischen die Matilde diShabran gesehen habe, eine Opera semiseria, die bereits zu meinen Lieblingsaufführungen zählt. Juan Diego Flórez (Corradino) ist wirklich charismatisch und seine Stimme ist fesselt den Zuschauer für die ganze Oper, aber auch Olga Peretyatko (Matilde) und der junge Dirigent Michele Mariotti, der übrigens seit kurzem mit der Peretyatko verheiratet ist, und auch der Rest waren einfach atemraubend! Ich rate jedem der Zeit hat nach Pesaro zu kommen, zum Festival zu gehen: Es ist eine tolle und sehr gut organisierte Initiative, die beweist, dass es sich immer lohnt in Kultur zu investieren!

Molti di voi mi hanno scritto delle e-mail chiedendomi di parlare un po' di me. Ci ho pensato un po' ed alla fine ho deciso che il modo migliore per farlo (per restare in tema con il mio blog!) sia raccontarmi attraverso i miei consumi: in termini di brand che mi caratterizzano, che mi piacciono, di consumi sia ispirazionali, che aspirazionali, ecc.. Spero che l'idea via piaccia! E voi? Quali consumi/brand/attività vi descrivono meglio?

Many of you wrote me e-mails, asking me to say something about myself. I have thought about it for a while and finally I decided that the best way of doing it is describing me through my consumptions (due to the kind of blog!): in terms of brands which characterize me, which I like, of consumptions both in an inspirational and aspirational sense. etc.. I hope you like the idea! And you? What consumptions/brands/activities describe you the best?

Viele von euch haben mir E-mails geschrieben um mich zu fragen, ob ich etwas über mich erzählen kann. Ich hab ein bisschen nachgedacht und hab am Ende entschieden, der beste Weg dies zu tun ist mich durch meine Konsume vorzustellen (das scheint mir mit dem Blog koherent zu sein!): d.h. durch Marken die mich gut charakterisieren, die mir gefallen, durch Konsume die mich inspirieren oder die für mich aspirationell sind, usw.. Ich hoffe die Idee gefällt euch! Und ihr? Welche Konsume/Marken/Aktivitäten beschreiben euch am Besten?

Plugo

Arriva l'estate (beh... prima o poi arriverà!!) e quindi è tempo di cominciare a pensare alle letture che ci accompagneranno sotto l'ombrellone o sui prati verdi e freschi. Io non so ancora che cosa leggerò, forse qualcuno mi può dare qualche buon consiglio? :-) 

Intanto, però, ho trovato questo bellissimo accessorio: si chiama PLUGO! E proprio in vista dell'estate secondo me può essere molto utile. Plugo è un audio-cap, un "brillante" da inserire nell’uscita audio di qualsiasi telefono, smartphone o lettore mp3, che lo ripara appunto da polvere, acqua, sabbia, ... Oltre ad essere carino, quindi, direi che è anche funzionale - una combinazione tutt'altro che frequente! :-)

 Plugo è importato e distribuito in Italia da Maikii, già distributore ufficiale della mia cover preferita, Rabito, quella con le orecchie da coniglio (potete leggere il mio precedente post su Rabito QUI e vi anticipo che presto ne seguirà un altro in cui ne parlo).

Summer is coming (well, sooner or later at least!!) and so it's time to think about our summer readings and about which books will come with us to the beach or to the moutains. I don't know yet what I'm going to read, but maybe someone could give me some good advice? :-)

In the meantime, however, I have found this very nice accessory: it's called PLUGO! And, exactly for summer, it can be very useful in my opinion. Plugo is an audio-cap, a "brilliant" that can be put in the audio output of any phone, smartphone or mp3 player and that protects it from water, dust, sand, ... So, apart from being cute I'd say that it's also functional - a quite rare combination! :-)

In Italy Plugo is imported and distributed by Maikii, who is already the distributor of my favourite phone cover, Rabito, the one with the rabbit ears (you can read my previous post about Rabito HERE and I can already anticipate you, that a new one will be following soon).

Der Sommer kommt (na ja... früher oder später hoffentlich schon!!) und es wird langsam Zeit and unsere Ferienlektüren, die uns am Strand sowie in den Bergen begleiten werden, zu denken. Ich weiß noch nicht was ich lesen werde, aber vieleicht kann mir ja jemand einen schönen Ratschlag geben! :-)

In der Zwischenzeit habe ich jedoch dieses schöne Zubehörteil gefunden: Sein Name ist PLUGO! Und er scheint mir gerade für den Sommer genau das Richtige zu sein. Plugo ist ein Audio-Cap, ein "Brillant", den man in den Audioausgang von Handys, Smartphones, Mp3 Playern einfügen kann und der vor Wasser, Staub, Sand, ... schützt. Also würde ich wirklich sagen, dass er nicht nur niedlich, sondern auch sehr nützlich ist - eine ziemlich seltene Kombination! :-)

In Italien ist Plugo von Maikii importiert und verteilt. Maikii ist schon der Verteiler von meiner Lieblingscover Rabito, der mit den Hasenohren (HIER könnt ihr meinen Post über Rabito lesen, und bald wird noch einer folgen).

Questa è la copertina de "L'inganno della seduzione", il promettente romanzo d'esordio di Marina Di Guardo, che è anche la mamma della famosa fashion blogger italiana Chiara Ferragni (il cui blog è The Blonde Salad).

Trovo che quest'iniziativa sia un'ottima idea e l'"assaggio" mi ha decisamente invogliata a proseguirne la lettura! Il romanzo verrà presentato in due librerie Feltrinelli, rispettivamente sabato 24 marzo (domani) a Cremona (Corso Mazzini, 20) alle 17.30 e venerdì 30 marzo a Piacenza (Via Cavour, 1) alle 18.00. Sarà presente anche Chiara Ferragni. Per chi può partecipare, penso che possa essere un'esperienza molto bella e interessante! :-)

Chiara Ferragni is going to attend, too. For those who can participate, I think it can be a very beautiful and interesting experience! :-)

Giant bag for giant ideas

 

Una vetrina (in Corso Como a Milano) che sicuramente attira l'attenzione! Io riempirei la megaborsa con: il "necessario" per una gita fuoriporta in una domenica pomeriggio primaverile: il mio iPhone (per forza), il romanzo di Tracy Chevalier che preferisco (La ragazza con l'orecchino di perla),  una scorta di Estathè (che adoro!), carta (fogli usati di cui riciclo il retro) e penna (un'intramontabile Parker) e un giubbino in caso di freschino (Pinko). La borsa gigante è ancora molto vuota... quindi ditemi: voi cosa ci mettereste?

A window (in Corso Como, Milan) that definitely draws attention! I would fill the mega-bag with the "necessary" items for an outdoor trip on a Spring Sunday afternoon:  my iPhone (of course), my favourite Tracy Chevalier novel (Girl with a pearlearring), an Estathè stockpile (which I love!),  used sheets of paper (of which I recycle the back) and a pen (a timeless Parker) and a jacket for the eventuality of chilly weather (Pinko). The giant bag is still very empty... so tell me: what would you put inside it?

Ein Schaufenster (in Corso Como, Mailand), das sicherlich die Aumerksamkeit auf sich lenkt! Ich würde sie mit den "notwendigen" Dingen für einen Sonntagsausflug in einem Frühlingsnachmittag füllen: mein iPhone (natürlich), mein Lieblingsroman von Tracy Chevalier (Das Mädchen mit dem Perlohrring),  ein Estathè Vorrat (ich liebe ihn!), genutztes Papier (dessen Rückseite wiederverwendet werden kann) und ein Stift (ein zeitloser Parkerstift) und eine Jacke für den Fall, dass das Wetter kühl werden sollte (Pinko). Die Riesentasche ist aber noch ziemlich leer... also sagt mir: was würder ihr hinein tun?

          

      

Theater Time!

Ieri ho avuto la fortuna di essere invitata ad assistere alla rappresentazione Il Senato delle Donne di LAURA CURINO presso il Teatro Ringhiera a Milano. Partendo dalle domande "ma il Risorgimento è stata solo una cosa da uomini? tutti questi uomini erano senza madre, senza sposa e senza figlia?", l'attrice propone ogni sera i ritratti di tre diverse donne del Risorgimento italiano. Storie affascinanti e toccanti di donne (ma anche di uomini) che mi hanno fatta uscire commossa! Qui vi propongo alcune foto scattate in loco. Non sembra un luogo surreale e un po' magico? :-)

Yesterday I've had the good fortune of being invited to LAURA CURINO's play Il Senato delle Donne (The Senate of Women) at the Ringhiera Theater in Milan. Starting from the questions "has the Risorgimento only been men's business? did all these men have no mother, no wife and no daughter?", the actress shows portraits of three different women of the Italian Risorgimento every night. Fascinating and touching stories of women (but also men) that made me move! Here there are some photos shot yesterday on site. Doesn't it seem a surreal and even magic place? :-)

Gestern habe ich das Glück gehabt zum Theaterstück von LAURA CURINO Il Senato delle Donne (Der Senat der Frauen) im Ringhiera Theater in Mailand eingeladen worden zu sein. Die Schauspielerin geht von der Frage "aber war der Risorgimento nur eine Männersache? hatten denn all diese Männer weder Mutter, noch Frau oder Tochter?" aus und präsentiert jeden Abend drei unterschiedliche Frauenportraits vom italienischen Risorgimento. Faszinierende und packende Geschichten von Frauen (aber auch von Männern), die mich gerührt haben! Hier zeige ich euch einige vor Ort gemachte Fotos. Scheint es nicht ein surrealer und auch etwas magischer Ort zu sein? :-)
