Come avrete notato mi piace moltissimo il modo in cui Google "gioca" con il suo logo. Solo un brand molto forte può permetterselo! Approfitto di questa giornata per ricordare una mia selezione personale di due grandi donne della letteratura per ogni lingua del blog.

How you'll have noticed, I really like the way Google "plays" with its logo. Only a very strong brand can do so! I take this day to remind a personal selection of two great women of literature, two for each language of the blog.

Wie ihr bemerkt haben werdet, mag ich sehr die Art und Weise in der Google mit seinem Logo "spielt". Nur eine sehr starke Marke kann sich so etwas erlauben! Ich nutze diesen Tag, um zwei (pro Blogsprache) großer Frauen der Literatur zu gedenken -persönliche Auswahl.

Oggi è il (227°) compleanno dell'illustre ALESSANDRO MANZONI, alla cui grandezza Google dedica il logo di oggi. Che cosa si potrà mai dire per ricordare uno dei più grandi maestri della letteratura italiana di tutti i tempi?! Lui lo saprebbe di sicuro... Buon compleanno Manzoni!

Today is ALESSANDRO MANZONI's birthday (the 227th) and Google recalls the illustrious Italian author dedicating him today's logo. What can be said to remind the anniversary of one of the greatest Italian novelists and poets ever?! He would know it for sure... Happy birthday Manzoni!

Heute ist der (227.) Geburtstag des berühmten italienischen Schriftstellers und Dichters  ALESSANDRO MANZONI und Google gedenkt seiner, indem es ihm sein heutiges Logo widmet. Was kann man schon  zum Geburtstag eines der größten Meister der italienischen Literatur sagen?! Er würde es sicherlich wissen... Herzlichen Glückwunsch Manzoni!

Hier zeige ich euch was ich (auf Deutsch) zu lesen begonnen habe! Ich bin bei S.190 angelangt und bis jetzt gefällt es mir sehr! Was haltet ihr von Anna Karenina?

Goldoni in Gondola

Forse vi siete chiesti dove fossi diretta sul treno dell'altro giorno - o forse no - in ogni caso ve lo dico: sono stata a Venezia! E vedendo la casa di Carlo Goldoni non ho potuto fare a meno di scattare una foto per il blog! L'autore veneziano è conosciuto soprattutto per aver scritto La Locandiera, opera che la stragrande maggioranza di noi ha letto a scuola, ma è stato anche un famoso librettista (per esempio per compositori importanti come Cimarosa e Haydn). La sua casa oggi è diventata un luogo d'interesse per appassionati di letteratura, scolaresche, turisti occasionali,... ed è importante che venga tutelata e promossa presso il pubblico, in una logica di marketing territoriale e di preservare il nostro patrimonio culturale.

Perhaps you were wondering where I were directed on the train the other day - or maybe not - I'll tell you in any case: I've been to Venice! And when I saw Carlo Goldoni's house I couldn't but take a picture for the blog! The Venetian author is known for his masterpiece The Mistress of the Inn (La Locandiera), that most of us have read at school, but he was also a famous librettist (i.e. for important composers as Cimarosa and Haydn). Today his house has become a place of interest for many literature enthusiasts, pupils, occasional tourists,... and it is important to safeguard and promote it in a territorial marketing logic and in order to preserve our cultural heritage.

Vielleicht werdet ihr euch gefragt haben wohin ich vorgestern mit dem Zug hinfuhr - oder vielleicht auch nicht - jedenfalls sage ich es euch trotzdem: ich war in Venedig! Als ich Carlo Goldonis Haus gesehen habe, konnte ich einfach nicht anders und musste ihm ein Foto für den Blog machen! Der venezianische Autor ist besonders für sein Werk Mirandolina (La Locandiera), das wohl die meisten von uns in der Schule gelesen haben, bekannt. Er war aber auch ein berühmter Librettist (zum Beispiel für wichtige Komponisten wie Cimarosa oder Haydn). Heute ist sein Haus eine Sehenswürdigkeit für Literaturfreunde, Schulklassen, gelegentliche Touristen,... und es ist wichtig es zu schützen und es in einer territorialen Marketing Hinsicht zu fördern, sodass wir unser Kulturerbe bewahren können.

Oggi vi scrivo dal treno!

Mi è ben presto venuto in mente quel meraviglioso libro che è Il Piccolo Principe, scritto da Antoine de Saint Exupéry, che abbiamo tutti letto almeno una volta da bambini. Il Piccolo Principe è la storia di uno stupendo viaggio, della scoperta di sentimenti e valori come l'amicizia ed il senso della vita. Da piccoli ne abbiamo apprezzato le immagini della volpe, della rosa, del serpente e abbiamo forse prestato più attenzione al viaggio che il Principe compiva fisicamente. Penso che valga la pena di rileggerlo adesso, guardando ai significati legati al viaggio interiore che in fondo riguarda tutti noi.

Inoltre, dopo la lettura, si è pervasi da un senso di tranquillità e serenità!

Today I'm writing from the train!

Antoine de Saint Exupéry's wonderful short novel The Little Prince, which we all have read at least once in our childhood, came to my mind almost right away. The Little Prince is the story of a fascinating journey, discovering feelings and values like friendship and the sense of life. When we were little, we admired the fox's, the rose's and the snake's pictures and paid probably more attention to the Prince's "physical" travel. I think that it is worth to read the nnovella again today, seeking for the meanings of the inner journey, because in the end it concerns all of us.

Furthermore, after the reading you'll feel calm and serene!

Heute schreibe ich euch vom Zug!

Ich musste fast sofort an Antoine de Saint Exupérys wunderschöne Erzählung Der Kleine Prinz denken, die wir wohl alle einmal in unserer Kindheit gelesen haben. Der Kleine Prinz ist die Geschichte einer tollen Reise, auf der Suche nach Gefühlen und Werten, wie Freundschaft und Sinn des Lebens. Als Kinder haben uns die Bilder des Fuchses, der Rose und der Schlange entzückt  und wir haben wahrscheinlich mehr auf die "physische" Reise des Prinzen geachtet. Ich denke, dass es sich lohnt, die Erzählung heute noch einmal zu lesen, um der inneren Reise auch Aufmerksamkeit zu widmen, denn am Ende geht sie uns alle an.

Noch dazu, fühlt man sich nach der Lektüre ruhig und gelassen!

Il Piccolo Principe non appare solo nelle nostre librerie, ma è entrato anche nel nostro guardaroba!
